Swallowfield Vineyard is my all time favourite wedding venue. I love it’s rustic charm & the beautiful energy that you feel as soon as you arrive there. When I had a call from Kim & Andy who wanted to have a chat about their wedding photography after setting a date for their wedding, which just so happened to be at Swallowfield Vineyard, I jumped at the chance – especially given how amazing Swallowfield looks in Autumn! They were married by Anne from St Cuthbert’s Wedding Chapel in front of their closest family & friends in a very personal & at times, funny ceremony. Once again, Melbourne turned on a perfect Autumn day for a wedding & Swallowfield provided an ever amazing backdrop for Kim & Andy’s wedding photography. I hope you enjoy this sneak peek into this beautiful wedding.
Leisa & Jimmy were married at the beautiful gardens at Truffleduck in Fyansford, Geelong. It was a lovely personal ceremony, officiated by Leisa’s friend Barb Duggan.
Leisa wore a gorgeous gown from Pearls and Roses, and carried a bouquet of flowers by Jacinta’s Flower Studio. Jimmy and the boys wore navy suits from Roger David, which matched perfectly with Leisa’s bridesmaids who were also dressed in navy blue.
Truffleduck provided the perfect backdrop for photos with the front veranda covered in jasmine, my personal favourite spot!
I hope you enjoy a sneak peek into Leisa and Jimmy’s wedding day….

This post is super heavy on images, the colours of this wedding have to be shared!!!
Loz & Chris’ wedding was a very colourful, fun, exciting, out of this world wedding…. a Mexican Fiesta theme, complete with a Day of the Dead style multi-layered rainbow wedding cake, covered in black icing, and decorated with flowers and skulls! Loz wore a gorgeous knee-length lace dress, adorned with coloured embroidery flowers and a purple petticoat to match her suede shoes. She carried rainbow chrysanthemums that were wrapped in a rainbow of yarn. Chris looked the part dressed in a navy suit from Jack London in Brunswick, tied together with a 1950s style leather, skull neck tie.
The marriage ceremony was conducted by the Rev. James Moorcroft, Loz’s brother-in-law, and was full of laughs and stories about the couple who were childhood sweethearts!
The party afterwards was held at the Island Bay Ranch in Phillip Island. Festoon lights, paper flowers and coloured bunting hung from the ceiling, Mexican blankets lined the tables, Corona beer was served with Tacos and Nachos, and the big hit was when Loz and Chris arrived at the party – sharing in a group Tequila slammer, complete with the lemon and the salt, to start the night off!
I hope you enjoy looking at photos from Loz & Chris’ Mexican Fiesta wedding.

Harper was only a week old when she came for her newborn photo session. Harper’s big sister Maddie also came along who was more than happy to show me how much she loved her new baby sister. How gorgeous are these photos of two beautiful sisters?
Spunky little man Riley was so much fun to photograph! At nine months old, he was proudly sitting up and looking at the camera. A little on the serious side, Riley still managed a few little smirks for me. This session is a great one to look at if you’re a little unsure about what to wear to your photo session. Riley’s mum chose to dress the family in shades of grey, which I think work beautifully, and is a nice change from white!
Little Niamh was a joy to photograph! Her mum brought her into the studio to have her first birthday photo session. She was a very clever little miss, who enjoyed standing up very proudly, which you can see by the big smile on her face. Happy Birthday Niamh!
If you would like your baby photographed to mark their first birthday, or to even have some beautiful photos to put on their birthday invitations, then why not give me a call to make a time.
Paris came to see with me with her beautiful mum Amanda and her super cool big brother Diego. She was a little angle for me, sleeping through the session with not a care in the world. How gorgeous is Paris??
Gorgeous little Aria came to see me with her parents when she was just one week old! She was such a content little baby, very happy to sleep whilst I clicked away photographing her. Aria has the most beautiful long black eyelashes you could ever imagine!
Here are just a few of my favourite images….
The weather bureau had predicted the heaviest rainfall in 100 years the day before Brooke and Shane’s wedding. Over 100mm was predicted in 24 hours. It looked like the ceremony would have to be moved from the courtyard at Goona Warra Estate, into the cellar door. The clouds above looked like they wanted to put on the show of a lifetime. But it was not to be! Brooke and Shane had their outdoor ceremony. They had their outdoor photo shoot. And everything went exactly to plan. The weather could not have been more perfect for a beautiful wedding, lovely and overcast; a photographer’s dream!
Brooke wore a beautiful lace gown from Fairytales Bridal, while her bridesmaids wore elegant, navy blue, floor length dresses. The girls carried rustic bouquets, consisting of native foliage, roses and berries. Shane and the boys wore charcoal shits from Roger David, the boys with gingham shirts.
Goona Warra Vineyard provided a gorgeous backdrop for Shane and Brooke’s photos, a great mix of architecture, gardens and vines!
Here are a some of my favourite images from Brooke and Shane’s Goona Warra Estate wedding in Sunbury.
Brooke & Shane’s dream team;
Ceremony – Goona Warra Estate, Sunbury
Celebrant – Shane Bourke, Melbourne
Reception – Goona Warra Estate, Sunbury
Florist – Amy Charallam
Brooke’s dress – Fairytales Bridal Boutique
Shane’s suit – Roger David
Monicka & Justus planned their wedding all the way from their home in London! From the venue, the beautiful Montsalvat in Eltham, the flowers, the car, the entertainment, and of course me, the photographer!
Monicka, originally from Melbourne wanted to get married in her home country, making this wedding, officially a destination wedding. They were joined by guests from all over the world; Ghana, Scotland, England, France, just to name a few!
Justus wore his Grandfather’s morning coat, and along with his groomsmen, traditional tartan pants from Kinloch Anderson, a tribute to his Scottish heritage. Monicka wore a stunning lace gown from Love Bridal in the UK. Her something blue was a special tribute to her late mother, a piece of smocked fabric that her mother had made, which she pinned to the inside of her gown.
Here are a few images from Monicka and Justus’ Montsalvat wedding in Eltham.
Monicka & Justus’ dream team;
Ceremony – Montsalvat, Eltham

I just had to share some images of the newest addition to my portrait product range. A beautiful boutique fine art book, printed on matt textured art board, complete with hand torn pages and a lovely natural linen cover (honestly though, what else could suit more perfectly than linen?!). Best of all, this beautiful album is made right here in Melbourne!
This new album is proving to be incredibly popular, especially for my newborn clients, and those wanting something a little different to the standard session album.
Blake loves his baby sister Sienna. Look at the way he kisses her! Look at the way his face lights up as he’s telling me about her! Kids and babies are awesome. I love photographing them!
Little Hudson and his big brother Jack had a photo session recently. Jack had the role of keeping Hudson safe in his arms, which he took rather seriously! It’s hard to believe that it’s already been a couple of years since Elise and Jeremy came to see me for the first time, when Jack was a newborn. And now they have two beautiful boys in the family!
Here are just a couple of my favourite images from Hudson’s newborn photo session.
Thought I’d share another one of the beautiful session albums that I offer my clients.
This one is a standard 8″ square session album, with a natural linen cover. Also available as a 10″ square, this album is made up of traditional photographic images that are adhered to a base page. Each page has a small border around the print, finishing the page nicely.
Great for any photographic session, but especially great for showing off your beautiful baby, captured by me in a newborn photography session!
I love it when I present a gallery of images to a client and they tell me how much they love them! That’s exactly what Lauren told me when she saw the photos of her three beautiful children.
The kids were so well behaved and were quite happy to have a little chat with me whilst I captured them being themselves. Check out those eyes on all three of them!
I love it when I get to photograph a new family, especially when I have been lucky enough to photograph the couple on their wedding day (see their wedding pics here)! To say that I was excited when Jade and Glenn called me to say that their baby Eva had arrived, was an understatement. There’s something cool about photographing a perfect, tiny, clear skinned newborn baby, up against the rugged, tattooed arms of her Father.
I hope you enjoy looking through some of my favourite shots from Eva’s newborn session.
Toby was just 5 days old when Sam & Jono brought him into the studio. Although he was just a little newborn baby, he looks enormous in his Mum’s arms, as I’m sure you will agree from the images.
I wonder if he will grow up to be a football player like his Dad and Uncle Dale!
Church St Enoteca in Richmond was the venue that Brooke and Matt chose for their wedding celebration. It provided the perfect location for a wedding ceremony and reception, with loads of nearby locations to photograph!
The Corner Hotel held a special place in Brooke and Matt’s heart, as it was where they first met. Hence, why they decided to revisit the exterior of the hotel to document the next chapter of their lives together.
Brooke wore a beautiful lace gown by Raffaella Cuccia, which was complimented by another fabulous bouquet by the very talented girls at Velvet Lily (those girls never disappoint).
I hope you enjoy a little glimpse into Brooke and Matt’s very special day!
Brooke & Matt’s dream team;
Ceremony – Church St Enoteca, Richmond
Celebrant – Megan Watson, Melbourne
Reception – Church St Enoteca, Richmond
Florist – Velvet Lily, Malvern East
Brooke’s dress – Raffaella Cuccia
Matt’s suit – Anthony Thomas
Another post of a wedding that was held quite some time ago…..
Gavin and Lindsey chose Fairfield Park to have their marriage ceremony. It was a lovely intimate celebration, with their closest family and friends, held in the amphitheatre, followed by a picnic of homemade sweets and cool drinks.
Lindsey, being from England, chose a London Bus to take guests on a tour of the sites before they arrived at Studley Park Boathouse, where their reception was to be held.
This was one wedding that was full to the brim with laughter!
Well, this will really show you just how far behind I am with blogging – terrible really when you think about it!
Jade and Glenn, who’s beautiful Sky High wedding I photographed last year, and expecting their first little bundle of joy! It’s funny, but it seems that almost every couple who’s wedding I photograph, suddenly announce that they are expecting a baby! So, perhaps I’m the lucky charm :)
Here are a few images that I’d love to share with you from their maternity session… which will very shortly follow with some shots of their gorgeous baby…..
When Jade and Glenn asked me to be their wedding photographer, I was thrilled! They are one of the most lovely couples I have ever met, and having photographed them a number of times over the years, I knew their wedding day was going to be a special one.
Jade arrived at the ceremony in a beautiful black Classic Chevrolet Impala, whilst Glenn had a huge Kenwood truck (don’t ask me what it was, I’m more of a car girl!).
The ceremony was held in the beautiful “Secret Garden” at Sky High, Mount Dandenong, with the cocktail style reception held in the main room of Sky High, overlooking one very amazing view of Melbourne by night. What a spectacular sunset it was, providing the perfect backdrop for some romantic dusk photos.
Yet another gorgeous little newborn to photograph!
Little Sophie was a perfect baby throughout her newborn photo session. With her very proud parents, Lucee and Adam, I was able to capture some beautiful images for them to look back on for years to come.
Barb & Marc came to see me with little Indigo (2), when Barb was 35 weeks pregnant. They returned a few weeks later with another beautiful daughter, this time, it was Sienna! She was a wonderful little baby to photograph, allowing me to capture her with her eyes open, and of course asleep, which is just how I love babies to be when they come for a photo session. Sienna let me curl her up, wrap her and pop her in one of my beautiful basket props, the perfect baby! Check out those eyes in the first image I’ve posted! Talk about a thinker!!!
What a busy time I have had over the past several months. So many sessions to blog, yet they are all sitting patiently waiting on my desktop!
Instead of a bunch of posts, I think I’ll just post a few of my favourite images from some recent sessions…..
Bec and Andy decided to celebrate their marriage at All Smiles, over looking the back beach of Sorrento. The were married by Bec’s friend, Andy Phillips.
They decided to have their photos taken before the ceremony, so that they could slip straight into party mode once the formalities were over!
Andy and his groomsmen met Bec and her bridesmaids at the gardens in Main Street, for the ‘big reveal’. It was a lovely moment as the groom saw his bride for the first time, enjoying an intimate moment together before we headed off for their photo shoot.
Sorrento is a fabulous location for wedding photos, with the rock walls at the back beach and the vast landscape, whilst the front beach has the cute little pier for a casual twist.
I hope you enjoy having a look at Bec and Andy’s wedding photos! Be sure to check out the cake toppers, they are awesome!!!

Julia and Stevie chose New Years Eve to celebrate their wedding! It was a morning ceremony, held in the gorgeous chapel at Immerse Winery, witnessed by close friends and family, and the couple’s two children. Stevie’s father, a Minister, conducted the intimate ceremony, making it extra special!
Julia wore a gorgeous lace gown, made by Sonia Glikson, teaming it with the most amazingly soft and floaty veil. Stevie wore a classic black suit by the team at Briggins.
Guests enjoyed a beautiful lunch at Immerse Winery and danced the afternoon away!
Thank you to the ever awesome Catriona at Immerse who as always, goes beyond the call of duty of an event co-ordinator!

I was over the moon when Sam phoned to tell me that they’d chosen Clyde Park as the setting for the big day! There are a great deal of venues out there that I love, but there’s something special about Clyde Park. I’m not sure if it’s the rolling hills that form the backdrop for ceremonies, or if it’s the cute little locations around the property that make for some amazing images, or perhaps it’s the fact that what really is only a shed housing barrels can look a million dollars when prettied up a bit! It’s fabulous! Oh, and Sam just happens to be my cousin, who is also just like a sister to me. So, that’s what made this wedding so extra, extra special.
Sam became a bit of an Etsy addict, frequently buying little bits and pieces to build on their rustic theme. From burlap table runners, gorgeous little Photo Booth props and about a million jars and bottles, she had the whole family rescuing little treasures to adorn the tables at the reception. It certainly came in handy that Scott and I were having our falling down fence replaced, so Sam was able to use the fence palings on the tables too.
The very personal ceremony was held overlooking the glorious views of Clyde Park vineyard, and was conducted by Celebrant, Annie Mac, who came all the way from Melbourne just to marry these two!
The reception followed shortly after in the barrel room, where the shed was transformed into a gorgeous sight. Tables were decorated with old fence palings, burlap runners, jars and bottles of summery flowers and of course candles. True to the theme, guest’s place settings were identified with old wine corks!
Once again, Clyde Park proved to be a gorgeous venue to photograph a wedding. From the green grape vines, the gum trees, and of course the tiny yellow flowers scattered throughout the grass, all working perfectly with Sam and Jono’s chosen colour scheme of navy blue and bright yellow.
It was a fabulous night, with all of the guests (myself included!) travelling back to our accommodation for the weekend in coaches, where a little after-party was held. Such a wonderful fun-filled day and night!
Very early the following morning, we dragged ourselves out of bed (arrgh!) and headed down to Eastern Beach on the Geelong Waterfront. Sam was dressed in her wedding gown, Jono in his pants and shirt, the two of them headed into the water for a bit of fun!
I’m sure you will see why I am so excited to share some images from Sam and Jono’s vineyard wedding, and of course their “morning after” shoot.

I’ve been asked to do quite a few cake smash sessions to celebrate some special little people’s first birthdays lately, and I was quite excited when I was asked by Kaydence’s mum, as I know how much she loves pretty girly things!
It was the perfect excuse to use my pretty pink backdrop that I’ve been hanging out to use again for ages, not to mention the gorgeous little cake that I had made especially for the occasion!
Kaydence was very timid throughout her session, choosing to take tiny little mouthfuls from the icing on the cake, instead of going crazy smashing it to bits, which I quite often see.
I’m sure she was on a sugar high for the rest of the day!
Here are just a few images that I’d like to share…
You may recognise Mandy and Eagle from a couple of my previous posts. They came to see me when Mandy was pregnant, and again when little Hannah was born. Mandy contacted me again recently wanting me to capture Hannah now that she is one year old. They wanted a more stylised session with particular clothing, that showed their personalities and sense of fashion. Mandy had even bought them all matching onesies from Peter Alexander, which put a fun spin on their photo session!
I think these images capture the personalities of Mandy, Eagle and little Hannah perfectly!
I had another gorgeous week-old newborn come into the studio for a session recently. Little Cooper was the perfect baby, sleeping throughout his session, which made capturing some beautiful images all the more possible.
I’d like to share a few of my favourite images from Cooper’s newborn session.
