My photographic style is natural and relaxed, allowing the personality of my subjects to shine through.  Whilst my passion was always black and white photography for its classic appeal, I have recently discovered a love for colour photography as the limitations are endless thanks to digital photography.  I love experimenting with different colour effects in my images to created a particular mood or make for a dramatic piece of art!

From images of beautiful pregnant bellies, tiny newborns and not so tiny kids, I aim to capture the essence of my subjects and those special moments that are gone in a flash.  Kids grow up too fast (I know my kids have), which is why I think it is important to have some special memories to always remind us of how small they really were.

Whilst I feel that it is important to capture images of our children, I also believe that any stage in our lives is something we will want to reflect upon too.  Time with our family, time with our friends and times when we were just being ourselves (or somebody else!).

Weddings are among my all time favourite things to photograph, I love the excitement of the day and all the details that go with it.  The flowers, the cars, the decorations, and of course THE DRESS!  Having worked in a Bridal Boutique in the past, I have a love for beautiful gowns and fabrics and basically anything to do with a wedding -  I guess that comes with the territory of being a female photographer!

I graduated from Deakin University in Melbourne, Victoria with a Bachelor of Contemporary Art with Distinction.  Experimenting in a variety of mediums, I majored in Media Studies (Photography) and Visual Arts (Painting & Drawing).  I completed my Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) at Monash University in Melbourne.
