I recently met Steph who was sent to me by Dr Sophie Leong of Mitcham Private Hopsital. Steph was 34 weeks pregnant and expecting a baby girl in late July. Here are a couple of shots from her session.

I had a different kind of Maternity Session this week. Instead of the usual boudoir style images I usually take, Rachel wanted to do a Pin Up Girl style shoot. I think she looks fabulous! I had a bit of trouble deciding which images to show on my blog because there were so many to choose from!

I finally met baby Alexandra last week.  We were supposed to capture her as a seven day old newborn, but time didn’t allow us, so here she is at four weeks of age.  Still a tiny thing and happy to be moved around while she slept.

Did you know, it’s only 12 weeks until Christmas!?!   Scary I know, but it will be upon in a flash.

That means that it’s a great time to get all those “must have” family portraits done in time to give as lovely Christmas gifts to the grandparents!  I know it’s something that we often don’t think about until the last minute, so what a perfect time to get some presents out of the way…

I caught up with Nicole yesterday to take a few maternity photos before she has her baby, which looks to me like it is just around the corner!!!

This will be her third baby, and a very special addition to the family.  Nic’s two boys are very excited to be finally meeting their new little baby soon.  I can’t wait to hear about the arrival….

Sam was the beautiful pregnant women I had the pleasure of photographing in a maternity session recently.  Lucky we had the session when we did - we may not have made it otherwise!

I had a pregnancy portrait session with Sam and Claudia last week.  Three year old Claudia is very excited to be meeting her new little brother in the coming weeks, but she wouldn’t tell me what his name is going to be!  I must say, for a three year old, she’s very good at keeping secrets!

I photographed Sarah last week.  She is expecting her first baby in only a couple of weeks!  Sarah was a great model for me, allowing me to try out a few different ideas that I had.  I can’t wait to photograph her little baby when it arrives - I love photographing newborns!!!  Here is a sneak peek from her session….

Last Friday we braved the cold, the wind and the rain and headed out to Anglesea in the hope of catching the sun coming up at the beach.  We got into the car at 6am, met our mum-to-be and arrived at a private little spot down the coast.

It wasn’t exactly the perfect conditions for what we had in mind - the sun was hidden completely behind a blanket or clouds, but with Jonelle being such a brave soul, we managed to get some great shots!  The poor thing was so cold - I wish I knew exactly how cold it really was!

Jonelle is 35 weeks pregnant with her first baby due to be born in June.  I had the opportunity of photographing Jonelle and Nathan when they got married in 2007, and was thrilled when I was asked to do this maternity shoot.
