After the huge wedding season I have had this year, I thought I’d better update the Wedding Gallery on my blog as it has been very neglected of late (try over 12 months!).

If you would like to view a huge selection of images from the one spot, then the Wedding Gallery is the best start for you!

The best way to view my most recent weddings, is to go to the Categories tab and select Weddings as this will bring up any blog posts I have made.

When I was asked to photograph Sarah and Craig’s wedding at St Brendans in Shepparton, I thought, what a great opportunity! Being in country Victoria, I had great visions of all the places we could go to shoot their wedding photos. We ventured out Wanganui Homestead for some shots, which proved to be a fantastic location. So many different looks at the one place!  I love how there was a mix of old Edwardian architecture and a country lane feel to the location.

The reception was held at The Connection, where Sarah had arranged a fantastic blue and white candy buffet. Who knew there were so many blue lollies out there!

Here are just a few of my favourites images from Sarah and Craig’s wedding in Shepparton…..

I was very excited to hear that Hayley and Gary, who would have to be one of the sweetest couples I’ve met and who are regular clients of mine, had become engaged.

To mark the occasion, Hayley called me up to book an engagement session, which she wanted to have in their lovely new home with their fur baby Bronte.

Although it was about the lovely couple, Bronte certainly stole the show!

I photographed Bree and Edian’s wedding at Tatra Receptions in the Dandenongs last weekend. Thankfully the rain held out long enough for us to get the shots that we needed, although I think the rain actually made some of them a little special!

Bree was the most gorgeous bride, looking just like a little doll, it was hard not to get a good photo of her!

Here are some of my favourite shots from their wedding…

Here is Scott’s latest Short Film, which is actually a not-so Short Film for Erin and Rob’s wedding last weekend.

You might need to let this one load for a little while before you start watching it – it’s a long one!

Erin and Rob were married on the weekend in a lovely intimate ceremony at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Manifold Heights.  It just so happened that the priest marrying them was Father Matthew Thomas, who was a school friend of my husband Scott!

Rob is a Sommelier at The Pier and chose to have their location shoot at Austin’s Winery in Sutherlands Creek.  The winery provided the most perfect backdrop to their photos with the most stunning spots to choose from.

It’s been hard choosing only a few images to show for this sneak peek, so here goes….

I was very excited to see one of the weddings I photographed last year featured in the latest edition of Bride Magazine (Autumn 2011).

It’s Aoife & Gary’s wedding that was held at Potters Receptions in Warrandyte in March last year.

Here are the pages from the magazine that feature my images…

Scott and I have been working on a new product for a little while now, and we are pleased to announce that it is available to any upcoming and new wedding clients that we have.

After talking to clients about the costs of having their wedding videoed, and the fact that there may not be the time or desire to sit through 6 hours worth of raw footage, we decided to offer a new short-film style of ‘video’ that captures all of the highlights of your wedding day, at a fraction of the cost!

Due to the intuitive way in which Scott and I work together, the Short Films for Weddings are only available when bundled with a still photography package, and not as a stand-alone product.

Here are a couple of examples of the new Short Films for Weddings that we are proud to offer…

Lisa and Travis chose Tatra in the Dandenong Ranges as their wedding venue – nice and sunny just like them! It was a warm Summers day on top of Mount Dandenong, which sounds funny when you think of all the crazy weather we’ve had this Summer. Lisa’s Celebrant-Uncle Digby married the happy couple, bringing a lovely personal touch to their ceremony.

Here are a few of my favourites from their wedding day…

Eleanor and Matthew were married last month in Geelong. There was not a single detail forgotten, with everything co-ordinating beautifully. Eleanor wore a stunning strapless Jane Hill wedding gown, which she finished off with a bouquet of ivory roses. We visited a few of my favourite locations in Geelong for their shoot, including the beautiful Geelong Waterfront.

Here is a sneak peek for Eleanor and Matt before the rest of their images are ready…

I had no idea I’d not posted on my blog in AGES – I have so many sessions and weddings to post I don’t know where to start!

Here we go…..

Zili and Keith were married just after Christmas in a very intimate ceremony with only their closest family and friends to share in the love. Keith wore his super-cool kilt while Zili, who is originally from China wore the highest, sexiest bridal heels I’ve ever seen!

We ventured around Melbourne CBD snapping them in the vast array of scenes that Melbourne has to offer, before they headed off to their reception on the Melbourne Tram Car Restaurant. Here are just a few of my favourites from their wedding day.

A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Kristy and Aaron’s wedding that was held at the Botanic Gardens in South Yarra.

The day started off very hot, with the sun burning down on us, and ended in the heaviest down pour of rain I have ever been caught in! Luckily we had just finished our photo shoot and were wandering back to The Terrace in time for the reception, we still managed to get soaked though!

We managed to cram in several locations before the weather turned bad, enabling a great mix of urban, garden and beach images.

I’ve posted a few images from the day so that Kristy and Aaron can see them when they return from their honeymoon…

Emily and Liam were married at the Spring Valley Golf Club a couple of weeks ago. It was a perfectly mild, sunny day, especially after the dreadful down-pour of rain we’d had the weekend before.

The ceremony was held over looking the golf course, and the reception was held in the beautiful club rooms. Emily had chosen pale pink sweet peas sitting in jam jars to decorate the tables, perfect for a lovely Spring wedding!

Here are a few of my favourite shots from Emily and Liam’s wedding…

Kim and Toby were married on Melbourne Cup Eve at Nathania Springs Receptions in Monbulk. The ceremony was so very personal and full of emotion – lots of tears of joy!

After the huge down-pour of rain that we had over the weekend in the Dandenongs and all of Melbourne, Kim and Toby were very lucky to have a touch of sun on their garden wedding ceremony!

Almost a fortnight ago, I photographed Bec & Josh’s wedding at Swallowfield Vineyards in Gembrook. It was the most beautiful warm sunny day and the perfect location for a variety of photographs, which included a glass-like lake, rolling hills, grape vines and a pine grove! Bec’s gown was amazing with folds and bustles of fabric giving a modern, yet classic look. Their reception was held at Forest Edge.

Here are just a few (gasp!) of my favourites!

I had the pleasure of photographing Fiona and Graeme’s wedding a couple of weeks ago. It was an intimate ceremony held at Leonda by the Yarra in Hawthorn. The day was lovely and sunny, the perfect day to get married!

Fiona wore a stunning lace gown by Linda Gorringe, and arrived in a cream coloured vintage jag. I want to show off some of the detail shots as everything was so beautifully thought out!

Here are a few of my favourites….

I’m way, way, way behind on my blogging at the moment!

I photographed Elizabeth and Darren’s wedding in September. It was a lovely wedding, with the ceremony held at St Alfred’s in Blackburn North and the reception at Sky High in Mount Dandenong. We were hoping to make the most of a beautiful sunset over Melbourne from the observation deck, but the weather didn’t have the same idea in mind, so we had to contend with the cloud cover instead!

Here is a long awaited sneak peek!

Jenna and John were married at Sacred Heart Parish in Croydon a little over two weeks ago.

It was a really colourful wedding, with the bridesmaids wearing orange, pink and purple dresses….. even the bride wore orange shoes!

The reception was held at Marybrooke in the Dandenong Rages, and despite the rain, we managed to take an array of photos outdoors.

Here’s a sneak peek of Jenna and John’s wedding.

I’ve been waiting for Hannah and David to return from their Honeymoon (they went to New York – lucky people!!!) before I posted a few shots from their wedding.

It was a black and white themed wedding, which had a 1950s vintage feel to it. Hannah’s dress was absolutely stunning, with ruffled layers of tulle and a hint of black velvet, teamed with strands of pearls and a gorgeous headpiece. To top it all off, she wore black peep toe shoes and my favourite – red lipstick!

The ceremony was held at Hannah’s old school chapel at Sacred Heart College in Geelong, and their reception was at the lovely Empire Grill.

Just wanted to also say a quick thankyou to the guys at Beav’s Bar for allowing us to come in from the cold and for letting us take some shots inside their lounge.

Thought I’d better catch up on some blog posts since I am way behind!

I photographed Mandy and Cam’s wedding in last month.  It was a lovely intimate garden ceremony, with their closest family and friends.  I love the shot of Mandy and Cam with their dog Max – talk about a happy dog!

I’ve been using a beautiful spot in The Basin (which is at the foot of the Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne) as my backdrops for wedding photography this year.  It’s funny how we can have the best of both worlds; the beautiful hills and pastures give a great country feel, and yet we are really only 30 minutes from the city!

Here are a few of my favourite shots from their wedding in The Basin.
