I’ve been waiting for Hannah and David to return from their Honeymoon (they went to New York - lucky people!!!) before I posted a few shots from their wedding.

It was a black and white themed wedding, which had a 1950s vintage feel to it. Hannah’s dress was absolutely stunning, with ruffled layers of tulle and a hint of black velvet, teamed with strands of pearls and a gorgeous headpiece. To top it all off, she wore black peep toe shoes and my favourite - red lipstick!

The ceremony was held at Hannah’s old school chapel at Sacred Heart College in Geelong, and their reception was at the lovely Empire Grill.

Just wanted to also say a quick thankyou to the guys at Beav’s Bar for allowing us to come in from the cold and for letting us take some shots inside their lounge.

Thought I’d better catch up on some blog posts since I am way behind!

I photographed Mandy and Cam’s wedding in last month.  It was a lovely intimate garden ceremony, with their closest family and friends.  I love the shot of Mandy and Cam with their dog Max - talk about a happy dog!

I’ve been using a beautiful spot in The Basin (which is at the foot of the Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne) as my backdrops for wedding photography this year.  It’s funny how we can have the best of both worlds; the beautiful hills and pastures give a great country feel, and yet we are really only 30 minutes from the city!

Here are a few of my favourite shots from their wedding in The Basin.

I’ve been looking forward to photographing the wedding of Gary and Aoife for a long time, and the day finally came!

It was a day full of emotion with the ceremony being one of the most heartfelt I’ve ever attended. They were married at Potters Receptions in Warrandyte, which has some fantastic places for photos - with a great deal of versatility too.

Here are just a few of my favourites!

I had the pleasure of photographing Leigh and Mark’s wedding just over a week ago, so thought I’d better show some of the shots!

Leigh and Mark were married at Millers Homestead in The Basin, in a lovely personal ceremony with close friends and family, held in the gardens of the Homestead.

I photographed Chloe and Weston’s wedding at Poet’s Lane last week. The day was so hot and humid, with rain on and off, so the ceremony, which was to be held in the gardens, was moved into the chapel.

We were lucky enough to get most of our shots done before the rain really came down, but it saw Chloe and Weston running for cover a few times!

Here are a few shots from their wedding…

Thought I’d post a few more images from Emma and Mark’s wedding at Tatra Receptions in Mount Dandenong.  Emma was lucky enough to have her lovely neighbours offer their fabulous garden in Belgrave for photos before the wedding - I love a garden full of roses, and this one was bursting with them!

I have been patiently (read - eagerly!) waiting to post some of my favourite images from Kristy and Ryan’s wedding in October.  They have been overseas on their honeymoon since the wedding, and I didn’t want them to miss out on seeing a sneak peak of their photos before everyone else did!  So here we go…

It was such a lovely wedding, with the ceremony held in the Chapel at Xavier College in Kew.  We had quite a bit of time to visit a few locations prior to the reception, so we made use of some great little spots in Hawthorn and Kew.

The reception was held at Fenix, which has a very special connection with the television show Master Chef Australia (Gary Mehigan).

I had such a great day photographing this wedding, with the bridal party making it full of fun and laughter!

Hope you enjoy the images I have posted…..

Emma and Mark were married yesterday in a lovely ceremony that was held at Tatra Receptions in Mount Dandenong. It was such a hot day, so thankfully we were able to find some shelter under the beautiful trees at Tatra and Alfred Nicholas Gardens.

Mark had arranged for Baba Desi (aka The Wizard) to perform a cleansing ceremony as a surprise for Emma, she was so excited to see him at their wedding!

Here are a few sneak peeks for them before they head off on their honeymoon. Have a lovely time away guys!

Sunday was a beautiful day to get married…. sunny and not too cold.  Donna and John were married at Fix, located at Docklands in Melbourne.  The ceremony was held in a room with wall to wall windows, overlooking the harbour - the perfect setting!
