Kim and Toby were married on Melbourne Cup Eve at Nathania Springs Receptions in Monbulk. The ceremony was so very personal and full of emotion – lots of tears of joy!

After the huge down-pour of rain that we had over the weekend in the Dandenongs and all of Melbourne, Kim and Toby were very lucky to have a touch of sun on their garden wedding ceremony!

Had a great family portrait session in the studio with the Kelly family last week.

The boys were such great little models for me, with both of them showing so much patience at being in front of the camera.

Here are a few shots from their session…

I caught up with Hayley and Gary and the family at the Fitzroy Gardens in Melbourne a couple of weeks ago.

I met Hayley and Gary last year with Hayley’s family when it was a warm Summer day, it couldn’t really have been much more different to the day we had this year! It was cold and raining, so out came the brollies!

Here are a few sneak peeks from their session…

Way, way, way behind on my blogging at the moment!

Here are a few shots from the Bump and Baby session I did with Kelly back in September. She was expecting a baby girl and had her nursery beautifully decorated with everything a little girl could wish for, even her very own Tiffany bangle, complete with little blue pouch!

I finally got to meet baby Sibella a couple of weeks ago, she was just two weeks old when these were taken.

Almost a fortnight ago, I photographed Bec & Josh’s wedding at Swallowfield Vineyards in Gembrook. It was the most beautiful warm sunny day and the perfect location for a variety of photographs, which included a glass-like lake, rolling hills, grape vines and a pine grove! Bec’s gown was amazing with folds and bustles of fabric giving a modern, yet classic look. Their reception was held at Forest Edge.

Here are just a few (gasp!) of my favourites!

I had the pleasure of photographing Fiona and Graeme’s wedding a couple of weeks ago. It was an intimate ceremony held at Leonda by the Yarra in Hawthorn. The day was lovely and sunny, the perfect day to get married!

Fiona wore a stunning lace gown by Linda Gorringe, and arrived in a cream coloured vintage jag. I want to show off some of the detail shots as everything was so beautifully thought out!

I’m way, way, way behind on my blogging at the moment!

I photographed Elizabeth and Darren’s wedding in September. It was a lovely wedding, with the ceremony held at St Alfred’s in Blackburn North and the reception at Sky High in Mount Dandenong. We were hoping to make the most of a beautiful sunset over Melbourne from the observation deck, but the weather didn’t have the same idea in mind, so we had to contend with the cloud cover instead!

Here is a long awaited sneak peek!

I had a great portrait session with the May family recently, the same family that I photographed when Talleah was only 5 weeks old. It was lovely to see how much Allira and Talleah had grown, since it’s been about 18 months since our first session.

The girl’s mum Kylie, had a great idea to bring along some helium balloons and bubbles, which certainly made for some fun – the girls loved them!

Check out the red throughout the collection….(for those who know me, you know how much I LOVE the colour red!)

Here are a few of my favourites from the session……

Jenna and John were married at Sacred Heart Parish in Croydon a little over two weeks ago.

It was a really colourful wedding, with the bridesmaids wearing orange, pink and purple dresses….. even the bride wore orange shoes!

The reception was held at Marybrooke in the Dandenong Rages, and despite the rain, we managed to take an array of photos outdoors.

Here’s a sneak peek of Jenna and John’s wedding.

As mentioned previously, I have moved my Boudoir and Pin Up Girl photography across to a new blog/website.

I felt that it would be a good move for this side of my work to have it’s own identity, essentially keeping this style of imagery away from my more family friendly focused work!

There are still a few things that need to be fine tuned, so please bear with me while this happens.

I’m very excited to announce that I am moving my Boudoir and Pin Up Girl photography across to a new blog/website. It’s such a big part of what I am doing that I felt it needed to have it’s own identity.

The new site also allows me to show a broad range of images that I would perhaps not show on this main site

The link to my new Bourdoir & Pin Up Girl photography site will be available soon….

I had a lovely session with Tara and Travis and their gorgeous two week old twin boys; Oliver and Finn.

I must say, it was quite funny with one nice and peaceful whilst the other was having a little cry, then they’d swap places! We still managed to capture some lovely shots of them both though.

Here are a few of my favourites from their newborn photography session held in my studio.

You might remember Rachel, who I photographed whilst she was pregnant, in a very glamourous Pin Up Girl maternity session….. I’ve included an image of her at the bottom of this post to refresh your memory!

Well, Rachel gave birth to a baby girl, who just happens to have the same name as my own little girl….. Scarlett.

Here are a few images from the session I did with Scarlett, Rachel and Dean.

I recently met Steph who was sent to me by Dr Sophie Leong of Mitcham Private Hopsital. Steph was 34 weeks pregnant and expecting a baby girl in late July. Here are a couple of shots from her session.

I photographed two beautiful sisters (and one boyfriend!) in the studio as a gift for their father’s birthday. The camera loved both of these girls, which you can see from these few shots from their session…

Catching up on some much needed blogging! I met Mia and Andy at Edge in Geelong for a quiet indoor photo session, which ended up along the waterfront. I love the effect of the studded wall, it’s a favourite spot of mine to use as a backdrop.

Here are a few shots from their session.

I’ve been waiting for Hannah and David to return from their Honeymoon (they went to New York – lucky people!!!) before I posted a few shots from their wedding.

It was a black and white themed wedding, which had a 1950s vintage feel to it. Hannah’s dress was absolutely stunning, with ruffled layers of tulle and a hint of black velvet, teamed with strands of pearls and a gorgeous headpiece. To top it all off, she wore black peep toe shoes and my favourite – red lipstick!

The ceremony was held at Hannah’s old school chapel at Sacred Heart College in Geelong, and their reception was at the lovely Empire Grill.

Just wanted to also say a quick thankyou to the guys at Beav’s Bar for allowing us to come in from the cold and for letting us take some shots inside their lounge.

After meeting his parents, Emma and Hiran at the Baby and Kids Market at the Hawthorn Town Hall earlier this year, I finally got to meet their gorgeous little 6 week old baby, Stefan.

Stefan is such a content little baby, happily posing for me in front of the camera – I think he was quite fascinated to have this big thing pointed in his face along with the bright lights shining on him!

Here are a few of my favourite shots from our newborn session.

A rare opportunity to photograph Wil and Scarlett today so I thought I’d show them off!

Normally these two little ones are the ones that run from the camera and refuse to have their photo taken. Must have been the novelty of a new location for them that allowed me to take a few shots before they decided they’d had enough!

Congratulations to Michelle, who is the winner of our Mother’s Day competition!

Of the entries that we received, Michelle’s was the one that stood out to my Mum.

Here is what she wrote when asked to tell us in 25 words or less why her Mum us the best Mum in the world;

“My mother in-law of 11 years is an absolute blessing, she fills that gap left by my mum who died when I was one.”

I hope you enjoy your prize!
