Thought I’d better catch up on some blog posts since I am way behind!

I photographed Mandy and Cam’s wedding in last month.  It was a lovely intimate garden ceremony, with their closest family and friends.  I love the shot of Mandy and Cam with their dog Max - talk about a happy dog!

I’ve been using a beautiful spot in The Basin (which is at the foot of the Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne) as my backdrops for wedding photography this year.  It’s funny how we can have the best of both worlds; the beautiful hills and pastures give a great country feel, and yet we are really only 30 minutes from the city!

Here are a few of my favourite shots from their wedding in The Basin.

With Mothers Day fast approaching, I thought I would run a Competition….

Mother Day Special Competition

The lucky winner will receive a Gift Certificate for a complimentary Portrait Session and one 8×12″ Print (valued at $150) for their Mum.

Your Mum can choose how she uses the Gift Certificate; it can be used for a Portrait Session for herself (let’s face it, how many Mums do you know that have a photo of themselves!), or her much loved grandchildren, or for your Mum and her children (that means you could benefit from this too!).

To enter, all you have to do is tell us in 25 words or less why your Mum is the best Mum in the world. I will be asking my Mum to help with the judging, so be creative!

Tell all your friends and family about the competition, post a link to this post on Facebook, spread the word…. Mothers Day is just around the corner!

The boring stuff…..
* Gift Certificate must be redeemed by 30th June 2010, if not used before this date it will expire
* Gift Certificate is for one standard Portrait Session, and is not valid for use with Boudoir or Pin Up Portrait Sessions
* Gift Certificate includes one Complimentary 8×12″ Print
* Complimentary Portrait Session must be held in my studio, or within 30km of Boronia

Not so long ago I met Melanie and Tim who were expecting their first baby. They came to me to have some photos taken of Melanie while she was pregnant. My “Bump and Baby Portrait Package” includes a maternity photo session and a session of the baby when it arrives. Well, Kyden arrived 10 days ago, and was an absolute pleasure to photograph as he was a lovely sleepy baby and was happy to curl up and lounge around on my bean bag! He even managed to give me a little smile while he slept!

Here are a few of my favourite images from the session.

I’ve been looking forward to photographing the wedding of Gary and Aoife for a long time, and the day finally came!

It was a day full of emotion with the ceremony being one of the most heartfelt I’ve ever attended. They were married at Potters Receptions in Warrandyte, which has some fantastic places for photos - with a great deal of versatility too.

Here are just a few of my favourites!

karen lee: Now tell me how do you pick the best from the best, your work always captures the moments!

I had the pleasure of photographing Leigh and Mark’s wedding just over a week ago, so thought I’d better show some of the shots!

Leigh and Mark were married at Millers Homestead in The Basin, in a lovely personal ceremony with close friends and family, held in the gardens of the Homestead.

Here is a sneak peek of some newborn baby photos I shot of little Chilli who was just 13 days old. His Dad Kristian, is a friend of mine from school, so it was great to catch up again.

I met 3 week old Jacob and his family last week.  He was a great little model for me, although he stayed awake for most of the session!  All of the babies I’ve been photographing lately don’t want to sleep and have been such alert little things!

Here’s a sneak peek for Susie and Ben…

Nicole Clark: Ooh he is so cute, already posing for the camera!

Kylie: Love the pics!! -Kylie

Thought I’d better catch up on some blogging of recent sessions - I have so many just sitting there, so I will try to get them up soon!

Here are some shots from the session I did with five month old Oscar and his parents - Sarah and Gerry. Check out his blue eyes!

I photographed Chloe and Weston’s wedding at Poet’s Lane last week. The day was so hot and humid, with rain on and off, so the ceremony, which was to be held in the gardens, was moved into the chapel.

We were lucky enough to get most of our shots done before the rain really came down, but it saw Chloe and Weston running for cover a few times!

Here are a few shots from their wedding…

I had a different kind of Maternity Session this week. Instead of the usual boudoir style images I usually take, Rachel wanted to do a Pin Up Girl style shoot. I think she looks fabulous! I had a bit of trouble deciding which images to show on my blog because there were so many to choose from!

Here’s a taste anyway…..
