I met little Dean recently, who was a tiny 6 pounds. The perfect age for a newborn photo shoot, Dean was a very new 11 days old and proved to be a little angel, blissfully unaware that he was being moved around throughout the session. I can’t get over his gorgeous long eyelashes, they would make any girl green with envy!

I met little Luca and his family early on in January. He was just 10 days old and the perfect little model for me, sleeping through most of the session, just waking up occasionally for a milk-stop.

Jess and Greg came to see me this week with their beautiful little man Blair, who was only just a week old when we held his session. Greg’s sister Amanda, had given them a lovely early Christmas present, which was to have a newborn photo session taken by me.
It’s hard to believe that Jess only gave birth a week ago when you see how great she looks in these photos – even more amazing given the size of Blair, who was 10 pounds!

The image of Michelle and Ben was beautiful to set up, as soon as she put her face against his, Ben gave a little smile!

Their names have special meanings for Dustyn, who is an indigenous Australian; Bidharli meaning Coast/Coastal and Dajarra meaning Desert/Town in Far North Queensland. Kelle and Dustyn came to see me last week with their gorgeous little twin boys, Bidharli and Dajarra. Their names have special meanings for Dustyn, who is an indigenous Australian; Bidharli meaning Coast/Coastal and Dajarra meaning Desert/Town in Far North Queensland.
It’s not very often that I get to photograph newborn twins, so I was very excited when Kelle contacted me. We did a collection of images of the family together, and then waited for the boys to drift off to sleep. We managed to try a few different shots of the boys, with my favourite being the one of the twins resting on Dustyn’s chest with the Aboriginal blanket that was made by the girls at Victorian Aboriginal Health Service in the background.
I love the warmth and adoration shown in the images of Kelle and Dustyn with the boys, it really sums up the love they have for them.

I’ve gotten to know Kim and Toby over the last few years, especially after having photographed their wedding at Nathania Springs in November last year. I was thrilled to know that Kim was expecting a baby, and even more excited when she asked me to photograph little Sienna this week.
Only 5 days old, Sienna was a wonderful little model, happy to allow me to take some shots of her stunning blue eyes and long eyelashes in between little naps, which enabled me to take some of the sleeping baby photos that I love so much.

Gorgeous little Jasmine came with her parents Lauren and Andrew for her first ever photo session when she was just 10 days old!
