SESSION FEE

$195 ON WEEKDAYS &
$275 ON WEEKENDS

Weekends book out incredibly quickly and well in advance, so if you have a date in mind, please book early.

PLEASE NOTE; the session fee does NOT include prints or digital files. Images start at $225. A copy of my full product guide can be sent to you on request by filling in my contact form. There is NO MINIMUM spend, you only purchase what you love.

After your session, we’ll come together in the studio (or via Zoom) for your viewing and ordering appointment.

This is where you will be shown all of the beautiful images from your photo session, you will make your image selections and order the products to display your photographs.

QUESTIONS

My studio is located in The Basin, which is in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Just a short drive from Eastlink.

I want you to LOVE your images, so I always place importance on outfit choices and styling. You need to feel comfortable in what you are wearing, but it’s also important to wear something that you look AND feel great in. If you are having family portraits taken, or photos with your partner, it’s essential that the outfits chosen complement each other. This will ensure that the finished images have a beautiful harmonious feel. It’s always better to have similar tones or colours that work well together rather than everyone in different colours and patterns, this just makes for a busy image and detracts from your faces, which you want to be the focus. We can go over outfit ideas together during your pre-shoot consultation.

No. Whilst I do have some items that you are welcome to wear during your shoot, it’s best not to rely on my studio wardrobe to provide you with outfits. I have a small selection of pieces that can be worn alone or in conjunction with other outfits. I encourage you to thoroughly plan what you would like to wear and bring along your own pieces and outfits to your session. Some of the items I have available are feather jackets and shawls, vintage tops and tulle skirts. I also have a number of outfits for young girls in very limited sizes.

No, I am a studio based portrait photographer, and prefer to offer you tailored and stylised sessions that are in my studio.

Yes, weekend sessions are available, however they are extremely popular and book out well in advance. Choosing a weekday session gives you more choice of dates and flexibility. School holidays are a good option if you prefer to have a session out of school hours.

No! There is no minimum order, there is no hard-sell or pressure to buy, you only purchase what you love. We will discuss photography pricing and information prior to your session so that you are able to plan how much you wish to spend.

Absolutely. Whilst I won’t pressure you into buying something you don’t really want or need, I can offer you assistance with choosing the best images and sizes that fit your purpose and space. I want you to be confident in your image and product choices and to have a finished product that you love.

You will receive a digital copy of any images that you have printed, meaning that if you purchase a print, you will receive both the print and the matching digital file. Having a photo session with me is different to a session with a photographer providing all files on a usb. By coming to my studio to have your portraits taken, you are choosing a photographer that can provide you with beautiful finished products such as wall art that will take pride of place in your home.

Yes. Gift vouchers are available in any amount you choose. It’s recommended that the person who will be receiving the gift voucher is aware of the pricing of a photographic experience with Kelly Stephens Photography.
